Professor Stewart Lawrence

My research interests are in public sector accounting and accountability, especially in the health sector. Sustainable development of economic activities has become a more recent concern. I have been involved in surveys of sustainable business practices of firms in New Zealand. A current project involves the sustainable development strategies surrounding Lake Taupo, and the involvement of the community is establishing values to guide economic decision making.
